New Zealand Career College

History of NZCC

Since 2004, New Zealand Career College has been involved and dedicated to private post-secondary training and education. Mr Feroz Ali, the sole owner, operator and current Chief Executive Officer of the college initially identified the college as an inclusive Pacific Island provider. The college’s supportive and inclusive environment further developed into an effective learning environment for Māori and peoples from a range of ethnicities and countries.

The initial vision of NZCC was to create a tertiary education college that would support and serve its local community by providing students with qualifications that would lead them to individual and community development, growth and employment. The college continues to support its initial vision and has extended its support to migrant and international students.

Incorporated in 2002, the college has grown to provide quality training and education to thousands of domestic and international students. NZCC is a New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) registered and accredited tertiary education provider and is approved by the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) for government student loans and allowances, in addition to funding for domestic students. The College is also a signatory to the Code of Practice for Pastoral Care of international students.

New Zealand Career College is a national organisation with six approved campus sites located in Central, North and West Auckland regions, Counties Manukau, Canterbury, and Wellington. New Zealand Career College currently provides quality training and education in a small, interactive and applied learning environment to in excess of 400 students.

In 2010, NZCC opened its City Campus in Auckland Central.
