New Zealand Career College places considerable value on the development and nurturing of both domestic and international partnerships. With modern economies becoming increasingly globalised and ‘networked’, the right partnerships create synergies and add value to what students receive when studying with NZCC. These benefits not only include the gaining of world-class qualifications and the latest educational thinking, but also the provision of post-graduation opportunities into further study and industry networks.
We value our onshore and international partnerships. A selection of NZCC’s valued education partners include the organisations below.
Open Polytechnic of New Zealand
NZCC and Open Polytechnic of New Zealand cooperate in the delivery of Early Childhood Education programmes. This arrangement provides a degree pathway for well performing NZCC ECE graduates into The Open Polytechnic of NZ Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education). NZCC and the Open Polytechnic are exploring similar arrangements in other curriculum areas.
Auckland University of Technology (AUT)
Well performing graduates of the NZCC Certificate in Health Care Support (Level 4) staircase into Bachelor of Health Science and Nursing programmes at AUT University.
Whitireia New Zealand
NZCC is proud of its partnership with Whitireia in the delivery of Early Childhood Education (ECE) courses in Auckland and Wellington.
Whitireia New Zealand is a government owned and funded tertiary institute of technology, known for its high student success rate and culturally diverse student body. It has grown since its establishment in 1986 on the shores of Porirua Harbour, to become an 11,000 student operation with campuses in Auckland, Wellington, Kapiti and Porirua.
Students consider the high academic quality of Whitireia programmes to be a point of difference in the region and the culture of the campus, represented by the support offered by tutors to be above all other educational providers in the greater Wellington area.
Equally, Whitireia refers applicants not quite ready for the degree programme back to the appropriate NZCC foundation level ECE course.
